Levi Linton is an African-Scottish Canadian music producer, audio engineer, audio recordist, singer/songwriter, and digital content creator from Toronto, Ontario. Levi attended Rosedale Heights School of the Arts (RHSA) for high school in Toronto where he was introduced to a whole new atmosphere of learning with like-minded creatives. This educational path continued onto Toronto Metropolitan University's Radio Television Arts School of Media (RTA) program. He graduated in 2020 with a major in audio production and a minor in digital media.
Levi has been credited in the sound department for multiple feature-length/short films, docuseries', VR films, and multi-national TV show broadcasts on TVO Kids, Citytv, CBC, and VICE Canada capturing audio on-set, editing in post-production, and composing an original soundtrack.
While representing himself as a musical artist, LE-VI has driven his social content by creating various animated video promotions and artwork for album covers using the Adobe Creative Suite. On top of that, Levi has done live event and food photography work for Citytv's Cityline, Rapseason's #Rated show, and byPeterandPauls events.
LE-VI approaches music with a sound design methodology to beat making. With a keen ear for texturized and unconventional sounds, he defines unique characteristics in his melodies that blend well with his collaborators.
