Two mothers have a conversation about parenthood in your favourite Toronto Chinese Bakery.
The short film tells a slice-of-life story set in a family-run Chinese bakery, exploring parenting philosophies and the pressures faced by the younger immigrant generation. The film challenges the parenting doctrines that immigrant parents pass down to their children.
Levi's role as Sound Supervisor involved:
- Oversee and perform in all aspects of audio production
- Cleanup of recorded dialogue
- Curation and placement of SFX
- Mixing assets for various platforms
- Micing cast based on various wardrobe selections and weather conditions
- Setting up recording, mixing, and monitoring equipment
- Operating boom, Sound Devices 833, Wisycom Wireless Systems
- Coordinating with the camera and grip department to ensure maximum efficiency
